Rebranding cinema after COVID.

The Silver Screen was DYING. Covid had ravaged the movie industry. Owlish Agency was brought in based on past experience working across the entertainment and shopping industries.

The Agency was engaged to rebrand the entertainment brand across its market footprint. The brand identity was updated while extensive planning went into new opportunities to re-engage audiences to “come back” to the movies. Through a variety of screenings of classics and social media engagements, the Agency worked with the client to introduce the movie going experience. Now, more than ever, production companies were eager to engage their IP with highly strategic localization providing audiences new experiences in entertainment.

Owlish Agency developed, designed, and animated several $5 movie ticket promotions for use across digital and social media channels. The designs ranged from animated, gif, and parallax. Additional animation work included coming soon, opening Friday, and now playing digital animations for Ghostbusters Afterlife and the Jungle Cruise.
