Covid changed our lives forever, just like the coming Muad'Dib on Arrakis. Movie theaters were some of the hardest-hit businesses. Dune was one of the first films to be released in movie theaters and at home on HBO Max. Were audiences ready to go back to theaters? A challenge for any seasoned marketer. By working with movie theater partners, we obtained film assets and created a digital advertising campaign driven by multi-channel social media and digital media buys. The Agency also developed Dune's social media takeovers leading up to the film’s premiere. The campaign and Dune were highly successful in reaching and bringing audiences back to movie theaters.
